Hallco Precision Gunsmithing is the Matanuska-Susitna Valley’s premier full-service gunsmithing and firearms manufacturing destination. Equipped with advanced lathe turning and milling capabilities, our experienced team can handle everything from complex custom builds to expert repairs. We also offer high-precision laser engraving for custom artwork and clean barrel markings. Deeply rooted in our community, any specialized services not completed entirely in-house are partnered out to local businesses.

• Robert Hall: Owner, Operator and Gunsmith. As our Lead Onsite Gunsmith, he brings over 20 years of specialized experience in long-range firearms. His formal academic training, and degree completion at Sonoran Desert Institute, combined with decades of hands-on expertise provides him with an unparalleled understanding of firearm mechanics. His specialized capabilities include precision machining and advanced long-range ballistic requirements. Guided by an exhaustive technical mastery of the craft, he operates under a single principle: precision is not a passion, it is a requirement.

• Joel Vaccaro: Gunsmith. Joining our team full-time in September 2026, he has quickly proven to be an absolute asset to our operations. Currently completing his degree at the Sonoran Desert Institute, he brings a specialized passion for historical craftsmanship to the shop. His areas of expertise include vintage firearms, black powder platforms, custom woodwork, and traditional leatherwork.

• Taylor Hall: Artist and Custom Engraver. She runs both our fiber and CO2 laser engravers. Her talented artistic skills bring a much needed eye to our engraving services. She can engrave specialized, custom logos to simple drawings and shapes.

• Trystin Hall: R&D and Military Acquisition. His role involves managing the development of new products, enhancing existing ones, and fostering a culture of innovation. He is continuously dealing with investments in the technologies, programs, and product support necessary to support all branches of the armed forces.

• Robert Harris: Outside Sales. With years of experience, he connects with our out of town, state and country customers with his passion for firearms and helps link them to our local shop.

• Jennifer Hall: Administrative Services Manager. Although her role might wear many hats on a day-to-day basis, her primary responsibility is to ensure that the shop is operating efficiently and smoothly.

• Ron Valdez: Tecnical Services Manager. A very welcome addition to the Hallco family.  It is fairly safe to say there is nothing in the technical field he cannot fix.  Our business relies on him to keep us up and running so we can provide our customers with unparalleled services.

• Jeff Copeland: Quality Assurance Technician. He inspects, tests, and monitors products, materials, and processes to ensure they meet our standards before reaching customers.
